boys team charity - Prospective Member

Dear prospective boys team charity league member,

Thank you for your interest in joining boys team charity (btc). boys team charity is a volunteer service organization dedicated to developing an altruistic spirit in young men through active participation of parents and sons in philanthropic projects in their community.

New prospective members will need to fill out the member application which will be made available starting March 6 and close March 13. At that time, we will hold a drawing for all classes with openings. Each class is limited to 30 boys and siblings get first priority.

Hours Requirements:
Annual minimum Philanthropy Service Hours requirements for both boys and parent(s):
Grade 7, 8, & 9........................15 hours each*
Grade 10, 11, & 12..................10 hours each*
Annual minimum League Hours requirements for both boys & parent(s): 6 hours minimum each (earned by attending general or grade level meetings as mentioned above).

Volunteer requirements: btc is a volunteer organization that is operated by parent volunteers. Parents are expected to participate as a volunteer in some capacity during your years in btc.

Financial Requirements: Each league has annual membership dues that are used to cover the costs of operating the league. Please contact the VP Membership (contact info will be provided to you at the end of this application) if you need specific league dues information. The dues for the 2023-2024 season will be $150 this includes a btc T-shirt for the TeamMate and Coach(es). Sibling member dues is $50.

Sponsorship: New btc members are sponsored by current btc members. If your son does not have a sponsor, we will work on finding one for him. btc membership is reviewed on an annual basis and new btc members are selected by a random draw.
